Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Orthopedic Nurse is needed for a unit located in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves caring for adult inpatients with orthopedic, neuro-surgical, and trauma conditions. The position focuses on delivering safe, high-quality patient care and enhancing the patient experience through effective pain management and proactive communication.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent, Ohio state licensure, and 1 year of clinical experience in a comparable setting.
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor.
• Experience: 1 year minimum experience required, with previous experience in adult inpatient orthopedic care preferred.
• Position Description: Provide care to medical/surgical adult inpatients including orthopedics, neuro-surgical and level I trauma patients. Priorities include zero-harm, patient safety, and quality care. Enhance the patient experience through pain management, proactive rounding, and bedside hand-off.
• Unit Description: 24-bed unit with surveillance and telemetry monitoring using Masimo technology. Medical-surgical adult inpatient unit specializing in orthopedic, non-acute stroke, and trauma patients. Level I age-friendly NICHE facility.
• Additional Information: The role requires adherence to hospital policies, standards of patient care, and safety protocols. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
