Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse in Tucson, Arizona. This contract position involves providing advanced nursing services within the catheterization laboratory, supporting interventional and diagnostic procedures. The role requires immediate start and a commitment to a 13-week assignment, working day shifts with on-call responsibilities.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications; at least 3 years of nursing experience, including circulating and monitoring in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory setting; familiarity with STEMI, high-risk equipment (Impella, IABP, Anari), electrophysiology (EP), and interventional radiology (IR).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in electrophysiology procedures and/or interventional radiology; experienced traveler.
- Float: Float to additional units as needed within the facility.
- Additional Information: The selected candidate must be willing to float to the Northwest Houghton location at 2200 S. Houghton Road, Tucson. The on-call requirement is 7-9 times per month, with the ability to pick up additional call shifts if interested, and a 30-minute response time for STEMI calls. Guaranteed hours per week are 36.
