Description
Job Summary:
This is a registered nurse position in the Emergency Room located in Tucson, Arizona. The assignment involves providing high-quality emergency care to patients, utilizing critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills. Candidates are required to bring their valid Arizona nursing license on the first day of the assignment. The position requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience and offers the opportunity to work night shifts.
Job Details:
- Location: Tucson, Arizona
- Position: Registered Nurse Emergency Room (ER)
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Experience: 2 years of ER nursing experience required
- License: Arizona State License required
- EMR System: Cerner (Preferred experience)
- Dress Code: Black scrubs
- Trauma Level: Level III Certified
- Certifications Preferred: Charge Nurse experience (additional $3/hr.)
- Float: Willing to float to other departments if needed
- Start Date: 08/03/2026
- Position Count: 1
- Duration: Contract for replacement of current staff
