Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Nurse in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This role involves supporting complex cardiac procedures such as ablations, device placements, and electrophysiology studies. The position requires experience in sterile environments, preferably within an electrophysiology (EP) lab, with a focus on circulating and monitoring responsibilities. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.
Job Details:
- Facility Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming
- Position Type: Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL)
- Minimum Experience: 0 years (new graduates considered)
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) are required.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 0700-1730.
- Additional Information:
- The unit performs approximately 3-4 cases daily, including ablations, device implants such as ICDs and pacemakers, EP studies, and watchman procedures.
- Experience or proficiency with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system, MacLab/Cardiolab, and Biosense Webster mapping technology is preferred.
- Call rotation includes three weekday nights per month, one weekend (Friday-Sunday), and four holidays per cycle, with a 20-minute response time.
- No floating to interventional radiology; floating within the cath lab to assist in circulating and monitoring is required.
- Provided dress code and a one-week unit orientation are included.
