Job Summary:
Home Healthcare Nurse in Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves providing nursing care to home health patients within the Franklin and Macon County area. The role requires responding to call requirements approximately every 6-7 weeks for a one-week night shift, with shifts from 5 PM to 8 AM and weekends. The focus is on delivering quality patient-centered care in a home setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, home health and hospice experience preferred for nursing in the Franklin/Macon County area, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with home health procedures, hospice care, and familiarity with home health documentation systems.
- Additional Information: The role involves patient visits that require a reliable vehicle, adherence to unit-specific policies, and the ability to work independently in a home setup. Scrub color for nursing staff is navy blue or navy and white; therapy staff may wear business casual attire. The position is a contractor replacement role with a focus on consistent, quality patient care.
