Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) RN in Houston, Texas. This position involves working in a high-volume Cath Lab environment with a typical census of approximately 120 patients. The role requires providing specialized nursing care for procedures such as electrophysiology (EP), structural heart interventions, and coronary diagnostics and treatments. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Houston, Texas
• Schedule: Day Shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, RN certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLs) certification, RN cathlab experience, ability to work day shifts of 10 hours per day, minimum of zero years of specific experience or education requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electrophysiology (EP) procedures and structural heart interventions.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit typically staffs 3-4 nurses per room, operates with GE, Phillips, and Siemens equipment, and uses a Merge electronic medical record (EMR) system. The team works in a cardiac catheterization lab environment with a focus on self-motivated, team-focused personnel. Call may be required on a rotational basis.
