Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse position in Albany, Georgia. This role involves providing acute care in a high-volume ER with a focus on trauma, neuro, ortho, and behavioral health cases. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Albany, Georgia
- Schedule: Day shifts from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a total of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid driver's license; Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Neuroscience ICU (NIHSS), or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI); 2+ years of nursing experience; at least one previous travel assignment; MEDITECH electronic medical records experience; auto lunch deductions; successful completion of ORT during week one unless otherwise approved; ability to work with behavioral health and trauma patients.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in ER trauma, neuro, ortho, behavioral health; proficiency in MEDITECH EHR; experience with callout processes and emergency protocols.
- Additional Information: The ER handles a wide range of patients from pediatrics to geriatrics, including trauma and neuro cases. Callout process must be included in submission. Consistent completion of ORT during the first week is expected. Only Caribbean Blue scrubs are permitted. The facility emphasizes safety procedures and requires adherence to specific organizational policies.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Shift Notes: Normal shift from 9a-9p, with additional notes on specific operational procedures.
