Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nursing position located in Asheville, North Carolina. The role involves providing advanced critical care for trauma and surgical patients in a specialized intensive care environment. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Asheville, North Carolina
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, trauma ICU experience (Level I or Level II Trauma Centers), surgical ICU experience, at least 6 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule
• Preferred Qualifications: Team players with positive attitudes, flexible, experienced with acute care ICU skills and procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, A-line placement, Foley placement, bronchoscopy, endoscopy, proning, TPA administration, hypertonic medication administration, trach placement, external ventricular drain (EVD) placement, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), debridement, and minor surgery
• Additional Information: Modified self-scheduling policy is in place, with float policy requiring travelers to float before core staff and to various ICU units or step-down units as needed
• Certifications: Active ACLS and BLS required
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
