Description

Job Summary:
Pre Op Registered Nurse position located in Dallas, Texas. This role involves supporting adult day surgery units, with a focus on preoperative care, post-anesthesia recovery, and pre-admission testing. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

Location: Dallas, Texas
Address: 7777 Forest Lane, Dallas, TX 75230
Unit: Adult Day Surgery, 22 beds, staffed by 41 team members
Schedule: 4x10 shifts, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, minimum 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid nurse license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), experience with Meditech electronic medical record system, IV starts, and pediatric experience preferred or nice to have.
Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience or familiarity with day surgery preoperative and postoperative care, pre-admission testing experience.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Self-scheduling, with the ability to shift staff as needed; must work during inclement weather; scheduled to work two Mondays and two Fridays per schedule period.
