Description
Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity available in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized care to acutely ill adult patients, including those with complex medical needs such as post-transplant and oncology cases. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Shift: Evening/Night, 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: WI RN or compact RN license, ACLS and BLS certifications, minimum of 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown units, vent and transplant experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing Ports, Arterial lines, BiPAP/CPAP, on an academic Level I or II trauma center preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and some holidays as required, with strict pass/fail telemetry testing including adult and pediatric exams prior to start.
