Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (CVOR) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Fort Myers, Florida. The role involves working in a cardiovascular operating room environment with a focus on open heart procedures. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day of assignment. This position offers day shifts with varied start times and requires call coverage.
Job Details:
- Location: Fort Myers, Florida
- Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, varied start times, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR)
- Must have scrub and circulate experience in a CVOR environment
- Experience working specifically within a CVOR setting
- Prior travel experience highly preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required; travelers are first to float and may be floated to other sister campuses
- Additional Information:
- Must load all demographic information at time of submittal, including address, email, full date of birth, full social security number, and RN license number
- Culture is very important; travelers are expected to function as core staff and are welcomed into the units
- All requested documentation must be submitted by the Monday prior to start date; no exceptions for pending documents
