Job Details

• Position Description: Support surgical teams across various specialties including plastics, general, orthopedics, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), and neurology as needed. The role involves working in a surgical environment, supporting operative procedures, and maintaining patient safety protocols. The position requires prior experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Epic, and holding certifications through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support), certification through NBSTSA
• Required Qualifications: Certification through NBSTSA; BLS certification; valid license through NBSTSA; at least two years of recent surgical technology experience, including at least one travel contract; experience with EMR Epic preferred.
• Schedule: Shifts are either 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a rotating day off, Monday through Friday. Minimum hours per week: 40 hours.
• Additional Information: On-call requirement within 30 minutes of the hospital. Credentials due by Thursday before the start date, including CBC, D-Select, and QuantiFERON Gold tests completed within 90 days of start.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
