Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse - ICU Neuro in Madison, Wisconsin. This position involves providing specialized critical care in a neuroscience intensive care unit, supporting adult patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evening/Night, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: WI Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact RN license, at least 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU, neuro-intensive care experience preferred. Certifications required include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Neurosurgery experience and EPIC electronic medical record system experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role involves caring for adult patients with neurovascular conditions such as strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and post-neurosurgery recovery. Candidates must pass a telemetry test prior to starting and are expected to work some holidays. Candidate must have ICU experience and be willing to work with ICU and intermediate care patient populations.
