Job Summary:
Psychiatric Unit Registered Nurse Belle Mead, New Jersey. This inpatient behavioral health position involves providing high-quality patient care in a night shift setting. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The role requires flexibility to work on any inpatient unit and supports patient assessment, treatment, education, and safety in accordance with organizational policies.

Job Details:

• Location: Belle Mead, New Jersey
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every other weekend required, no holiday or on-call requirements
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate Degree in Nursing), NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, AHA (American Heart Association) certification, 0 years of experience, demonstrated computer literacy and competency for required systems, ability to provide care to adolescent, adult, and older adult patients, knowledge of growth and development principles, cultural competence, and effective communication skills
• Additional Information: Demonstrates positive communication techniques to enhance patient care and collaborates effectively with treatment team members. Must understand and implement hospital policies regarding safety, confidentiality, medication administration, crisis management, and patient care protocols. Ability to interpret patient information relative to age, culture, and disability is essential.
