Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) located in Georgetown, Texas. This contract position offers a 13-week assignment working overnight shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with candidates required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves providing specialized maternal and infant care within a busy L&D unit.

Job Details:

• Location: Georgetown, Texas
• Position Type: Contract RN - Labor and Delivery
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week, with a start date of June 1, 2026
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license, certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), no minimum years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Recent Labor or Postpartum experience within the last year, LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) experience, NICU or transition/baby-catching experience, experience with Level II NICU, and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records such as GE Centricity/CPN & Meditech
• Additional Information: The unit manages a variety of procedures including labor induction, cervical ripening, cesarean sections, tubal ligations, and care for high-risk mothers and infants, with a focus on family-centered care. The team values positive, friendly attitudes and proactive personalities.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs featuring a stork symbol and pink badge; travelers do not need to have embroidered storks but must adhere to color requirements.
