Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) in Rockport, Maine. This role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Rockport, Maine
• Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and holiday
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Education modules as required by the education department; 2 to 5 years of experience in Emergency Department or Critical Care; must bring license on first day
• Preferred Qualifications: Flexibility, excellent communication and documentation skills; team approach personality fit; professional attire
• Additional Information: This position is to fill an opened night shift to maintain core staffing levels. The unit is a joint commission certified stroke center, currently under construction, requiring flexibility with workflow changes. The ER has 20 beds, including behavioral health, triage rooms, and swing beds within a secure space. Work involves standard emergency care equipment and the EPIC electronic medical record system.
