Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Louisville, Kentucky. The role involves monitoring and sedation within the Heart Hospital Cath Lab. Candidates are expected to have at least two years of Cath Lab experience and are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); 2 years of Cath Lab experience; license required; location in Louisville, Kentucky.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with a schedule made in 6-week increments. Candidates must be available for weekend rotation (call only), 1-2 weeknight call shifts per week, and 1-2 call weekends in a 6-week schedule, with a 30-minute response time.
- Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; Liverense; minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience; preferred experience with ICU or Cardiac Stepdown units.
- Additional Information: May float to University Hospital or to the Electrophysiology Lab. The department provides 4-5 days of orientation. Scrub color is provided, and parking is access via badge in a free parking garage.
