Description
Job Summary:
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing specialized behavioral health care, including care for patients undergoing electroconvulsive therapy and Spravato treatments. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania
- Specialty: Psychiatric Unit
- Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other week (EOW) and every other hour (EOH) required
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; at least 1 year of behavioral health nursing experience; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Additional Information: Floating is required. No 48-hour weekly guarantees are approved. Blocked scheduling requests are not approved. EMR system used is Cerner. The unit has 22 beds with a patient ratio of 1:7. The role involves BH patients, ECT pre and post care, and Spravato treatments. Number of Positions: 1. Position creation reason: Contractor Replacement
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
