Job Summary:
A Stepdown Nurse specializing in stepdown units is sought in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This individual will be responsible for providing advanced patient care in a stepdown setting, ensuring safe and effective treatment for adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, and cardiac issues. Candidates are required to bring their licensed RN credentials on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on June 22, 2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Oklahoma or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission. Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Heart Association (AHA) National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in a similar stepdown or telemetry unit, community hospital experience preferred.
• Additional Information: This role requires proficiency in accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, cardiac telemetry, chest tube care, wound Vac management, and use of rapid response teams. The unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including respiratory failure, sepsis, and arrhythmias. Floating to similar units within scope may be required, with brief orientation provided on the unit.
