Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in home healthcare is sought for a position in Brunswick, Maine. This role involves providing comprehensive home health services, including management and teaching for various medical devices and chronic conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license, no minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 40 hours per week, with one weekend per month (16 hours).
• Additional Information: Will require working one weekend per month.
• Position Type: Contractor replacement.
• Location: Brunswick, Maine
• Position Description:
  • Facilitate patient care including PICC (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter) management, portacath management, wound vac therapy, Pleurx catheter management, ostomy teaching and management, G and J G tube teaching and management, and chronic disease education.
  • Be familiar with electronic medical records (EMR) using Epic.
  • Provide care for all levels of home health patients, with a caseload of up to 27 patients.
  • Use laptops and cell phones issued for work.
• Preferred Qualifications: Two years of medical/surgical experience is preferred.
• Personality Fit: Professional presentation with scrub or civilian clothes.
• Miscellaneous: Will require working one weekend each month.
