Description

Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Home Healthcare is needed in Portland, Maine. This role involves providing in-home patient care within a home health care setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Portland, Maine
  • Role: RN in Home Healthcare
  • Schedule: Day shift, 0800-1700, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; BLS certification; at least 2 years of clinical experience in home health or related fields; Epic and OASIS experience; experience with IV therapy, tube feeds, VAC dressings, compression wraps, port access, ostomies, chest tubes, scheduled in-home visits
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult med surg, oncology, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, wound care, gastrointestinal (GI), genitourinary (GU); organized, collaborative personality, good communication skills, proficiency in documentation and time management, open to feedback
  • Additional Information: Candidates will be assigned a laptop and iPhone with case, chargers, vital signs equipment, INR machine, nursing supplies, and agency bag. All equipment must be returned at the end of the assignment. No overnight call is required; call back 2-4 times monthly between 1700-2000, with this determined daily by agency needs.
