Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts in Saint Louis, Missouri. The position involves monitoring adult patients with cardiac conditions in an acute care hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience and offers the opportunity to work a flexible schedule with 36 hours guaranteed per week.
Job Details:
- Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Missouri (MO) or compact state nursing license (license in hand required at submittal), 2 years of clinical experience, certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Certified Nurse Artist (CNA).
- Certifications (Preferred or Required): ACLS and CPI are preferred; ACLS required for certain locations.
- Clinical Experience and Skills: Experience in cardiac telemetry, reading rhythms, management of cardiac medications and drips (no titration), pacemakers (temporary and permanent), external pacemaker monitoring, chest tubes, continuous bladder irrigation, and management of cardiac devices. Proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias, managing cardiac drips, and using charting system EPIC is required.
- Additional Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of experience in telemetry or similar units, with prior experience in adult cardiac procedures and monitoring.
- Shift Details: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours weekly, with 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week cycle. No on-call requirement.
- Special Considerations: No local candidates within a 75-mile radius; travelers will float within the service line.
- Pending License: Accepted with required license in hand at the time of submittal.
- Other Details: Flu vaccination required; COVID-19 vaccination not required. No parking costs. The assignment start date is June 29, 2026.
