Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Fort Myers, Florida. This role involves providing specialized post-anesthesia care within the facility's PACU, supporting patient recovery after surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Fort Myers, Florida

  • Required Qualifications:
    • Two (2) years of relevant experience
    • Pediatric Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PEDS PACU) experience
    • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications
    • EMR experience with Epic system
    • Must have a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and all demographic information loaded at submission (address, email, date of birth, social security number)
    • Graduate or higher degree with accreditation reflected on profile or five (5) years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Prior travel experience
  • Additional Information:
    • Radius rule of 50 miles from permanent address applies
    • Floating is required; travelers are first to float and may need to float to sister campuses
    • Culture and teamwork are highly valued, with travelers expected to function as core staff
    • All documentation must be submitted by the Monday prior to the start date; no exceptions for pending documents
