Job Summary:
The RN (Registered Nurse) - Endoscopy Department position is located in Bakersfield, California. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the Endoscopy or Gastrointestinal (GI) laboratory setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The position supports the organizations operational needs during days, every other week, with the first staff to float as needed.
Job Details:
- Location: Bakersfield, California
- Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required certifications
- Education Requirements: Valid license to submit required
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role with procedural sedation experience required; call experience is also necessary
- Schedule: Day shifts, every other week, with varied start times; shift length as noted in submission with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Additional Information: Holiday call rotation includes one major holiday and one minor holiday; call response time required is 30 minutes; no float outside of the Endoscopy/Gastrointestinal lab although travel between two nearby campuses may be needed; unit-specific orientation typically lasts 2-3 days.
