Description
Job Summary:
Endoscopy Technician in Smyrna, Tennessee. This position involves supporting the endoscopy unit with required procedures and operational tasks. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Smyrna, Tennessee
- Number of Positions: 1
- Schedule: Day shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification, endoscopy experience, and current license in the state of Tennessee.
- Responsibilities include assisting with procedures such as EGD, Colonoscopy, Bronchoscopy, and other specialized endoscopic techniques.
- Typical shifts are day shifts, with on-call duties every 5-8 days and weekends depending on staff rotation.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The unit has 3 endoscopy suites with a team of 2-4 staff per suite, using Meditech and Provation electronic medical record systems.
