Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Nursing position located in the hospital setting. This role involves floating across multiple units, performing cardiac monitoring, interpreting telemetry strips, and managing cardiac drips. The position offers night shifts with a focus on acute care patient management in diverse medical-surgical and specialized units.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/20/2026 to 12/19/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Active Massachusetts RN license, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, a minimum of 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location, and 2 years of traveling nurse experience.
• Skill Sets Required: Telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours, TR Band experience, ability to perform cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and managing diverse patient populations including those in the emergency department border and mental health units.
• Patient Population: Care for ED border patients; medication nursing in the acute mental health unit; care for non-vented patients who are transfer-ready in the ICU.
• Additional Information: Float throughout the hospital to all Med/Surg Tele areas (Davenport 5, Davenport 7, Davenport 8, Davenport 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, & Overflow). The clinician-to-patient ratio is up to 5:1 during days and evenings, and up to 6:1 during nights. Units range from 8 to 41 beds in size. EMR system used is EPIC.
