Job Summary:
Lafayette, Colorado The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) to support surgical services at their facility. The role involves assisting the surgical team to ensure safe and successful operative procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers. Licensure: CO License (DORA) required. Certification: NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist required. Education: Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician (ORT) program or graduation from a non-accredited surgical tech program within the past six (6) months (not eligible for Tech in Surgery exam), or two (2) years of scrub tech experience in hospital/military surgical services within the last three (3) years. Experience: 2 years of Surgical Tech experience, 1-year Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) scrubbing experience, and at least 1 year of cardiovascular experience as a Surgical Tech.
• Schedule: Day shift, 4-10 hour days, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves maintaining sterilization standards, ensuring a sterile environment, recognizing and responding to sharps and fire safety processes, assisting with sterile processing, supporting the surgical team during procedures, managing emergency situations, and aiding in room turnover and sterilization procedures.
