Description

Job Summary:
An ICU Registered Nurse (RN) positioned in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This role involves providing comprehensive care to ICU patients, including vent management, titratable drips, medication mixing, and hygiene care. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
  • Schedule: Days, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Two or more years of ICU experience, experience with ventilators, titratable drips, mixing medications, patient hygiene, ER and Medical Surgical experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); Certifications include BLS, ACLS. TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) is preferred.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required, with specific instructions during float to ER & Medical Surgical departments.
  • Additional Information: No call required. Candidates should submit only if their agency is registered with the state of New Mexico for fingerprinting, as the process can take several weeks. The facility has 12 beds, with a patient ratio of 1:2-3, and the scope of role involves ICU patient total care, including ventilators, titratable drips, hygiene care. No holidays are specifically designated, and the EMR system used is MedHost. Scrub color can be any.
