Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Nurse in Lafayette, Indiana. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for patients undergoing invasive radiology procedures, including conscious sedation and vital sign monitoring during interventions. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Location: Lafayette, Indiana
  • Specialty: Interventional Radiology (IR)
  • Shift Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, minimum of 3 years of experience, and eligibility to work in the specified location.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in interventional radiology or catheterization laboratory (Cath lab), and background working in emergency department (ED) or intensive care unit (ICU).
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-call rotation including weekends.
  • Additional Information: The unit has 225 beds, with a patient-to-RN ratio of 1:1. Equipment includes Siemens Artis Z, Siemens Artis Q, and Philips EPIQ ultrasound machine. The RN will perform procedures involving conscious sedation under radiologist supervision and monitor patient vitals during invasive procedures.
