Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse in Tucson, Arizona. This position involves providing patient care within a float pool environment across multiple facilities, with the requirement for candidates to bring their licensed credentials on the first day. The role offers an opportunity to work day shifts, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts, and a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Tucson, Arizona
• Position: Travel: Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse
• Start Date: ASAP, within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Arizona license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), 2+ years of experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing, experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR), ability to float between departments and facilities
• Preferred Qualifications: Critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, leadership experience, flexibility to float among designated facilities including Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This is a float pool position and requires willingness to work across four facilities. Clinicians will be responsible for delivering patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in adherence to state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The role involves maintaining clinical competencies and supervising assigned personnel.
