Job Summary:
The emergency room nurse position is located in Utica, New York. This role involves providing patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. Qualified candidates must bring their license on the first day of employment and possess at least 2 years of experience in emergency medicine with some pediatric experience. The shift schedule is from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license and all RN licenses, Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications, at least 2 years of experience in emergency department settings with some pediatric experience, EMR experience with EPIC, and drivers licenses with address matching demographics.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse capability highly preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must submit an up-to-date resume that includes 2+ years of ED experience, pediatric experience, and documented travel experience. RTO must be included at time of submission. Charge capability is highly preferred. Scrub color designated as Navy Blue.
