Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Saint Petersburg, Florida. This role involves working in a diverse surgical environment with specialties including gynecology, urology, general, robotics, and orthopedics. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position offers day shifts and a variable call schedule.
Job Details:
- Location: Saint Petersburg, Florida

- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; experience in gynecology, urology, general surgery, robotics, and orthopedics; ability to take call
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotic procedures; flexibility to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
- Additional Information: Working in a unit with 7 operating room suites, approximately 30 staff members including certified surgical technologists, RNs, aides, and leadership; variety of equipment based on specialty; EMR system Meditech; teamwork and flexibility are valued; candidate must be a team player and adaptable to new equipment or technology; schedule may include working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
