Description

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Float Nurse position available in Rochester, Minnesota. The role involves providing advanced postoperative management of adult cardiac surgery and heart/lung transplant patients within a highly specialized ICU setting. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Location: Rochester, Minnesota
  • Schedule: Rotating shift time, 36 hours per week, including Day/Night Rotation (0700-1930 and 1900-0730) and Straight Nights (1900-0730), every 3rd weekend
  • Required Qualifications: Current RN license by applicable state requirements, minimum education from an accredited nursing program, at least one year of recent ICU nursing experience (travel experience preferred), 36 hours per week schedule with shift time as specified
  • Preferred Qualifications: Critical care experience in adult cardiac surgery ICU, experience with ventricular assist devices (VAD), Impella, ECMO, or balloon pumps, and CCRN certification
  • Additional Information: Floating required as needed. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, mentoring abilities, and be capable of functioning within a multidisciplinary team in a highly specialized ICU environment.
