Description

Job Summary:
The location is in Grand Island, Nebraska. This is a registered nurse position in the Labor and Delivery Department, focused on providing care in labor, postpartum, newborn nursery, and neonatal intensive care units. The role involves assisting with a range of procedures including vaginal delivery, cesarean delivery, fetal monitoring, and newborn assessments. Candidates must bring their nursing license on the first day. The position requires working 36 hours per week, with some weekends and holidays, on both day and night shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 36 hours/week with some weekends and holidays. Day shift is 0630-1900; Night shift is 1830-0700. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Nebraska or multi-state Registered Nurse (RN) license, graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ADN or BSN), minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery, recovery, and postpartum RN experience, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), recent EPIC experience, ability and willingness to assist with neonatal intensive care unit feeder-growers, and live within 50 miles of the location.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)/Central Monitoring, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and NICU feeder-growers.
  • Additional Information: The role involves assisting with all areas related to Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery. Will have 2-3 shifts of orientation before working independently. The start date is ASAP. Candidate will never work alone and may float to other units including postpartum, NICU, and neonatal feeder-growers.
