Job Summary:
The outpatient clinic nurse practitioner is based in Farmington, Connecticut. This position involves providing care within a medical oncology and hematology oncology outpatient setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role focuses on supporting clinical teams through triage, problem solving, and patient care in a team environment. The position is scheduled for daytime hours.
Job Details:
- Location: Farmington, Connecticut

- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Connecticut license or compact license, minimum of 0 years of experience, and prior travel experience. Candidates must possess knowledge, skills, and abilities as stated above.
- Certifications: ONS chemotherapy immunotherapy provider card is required.
- Additional Information:
- May be required to lift and restrain patients.
- May have exposure to communicable or infectious diseases and face risks from assaultive or abusive clients.
- May be exposed to disagreeable conditions.
- May work closely with nursing staff in the chemotherapy infusion room but does not administer infusion therapies.
- Locals accepted.
- During the assignment, staff members are part of the coverage pool and may work additional hours on an as-needed basis to ensure coverage for the unit.
- No weekends, no on-call, no major holidays.
