Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in a Level 2 OB and nursery unit. This position involves providing care for women during labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal nursery, including circulating in cesarean sections. The role requires flexibility across multiple unit areas to ensure comprehensive maternal and neonatal care.

Job Details

• Location: Not specified, but within the healthcare setting described.
• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Experience: Valid nursing license, drivers license or state ID, professional profile, and two professional references. Minimum of 1 year of experience in L&D.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The LDRP unit features Level 2 obstetrics and nursery care, including 8 labor beds, 12 postpartum rooms, 4 special care nursery beds, and an obstetric operating room. Triages are conducted out of labor beds, and nurses circulate during cesarean procedures. Candidates should be prepared to work across all areas within the department.
