Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Quincy, Illinois. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care within a Level 2 Trauma Center and Level 2 Stroke Center. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The position is scheduled for night shifts and requires a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license to submit; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications; at least 2 years of emergency department (ED) registered nurse experience; BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) not required; location in Illinois; candidates must have at least 0 years of experience.

- Additional Information: An immediate start is required for this position. The ER handles an average of 120 patients daily, with a staffing model based on patient census and various shift ranges. The unit is a full treatment center for sexual assault survivors and is designated as a Level 2 Trauma and Stroke Center, with chest pain accreditation. Charting is completed using the EPIC system.
