Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse position in a moderately sized healthcare facility within California. This role involves delivering specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures, coordinating care efforts, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires a commitment to a Monday through Friday schedule during daytime hours, with on-call responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 0700-1730 hours, with on-call from 1900-2400 hours; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, one year of experience in cardiac care or cath lab setting; current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an approved vendor.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory; EPIC electronic health record experience.
• Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for collecting and analyzing patient assessment data, developing and implementing care plans, and providing patient education and discharge planning. The role involves delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed team members and ensuring care consistency and safety.
