Job Summary:
Pediatric Registered Nurse position available in Hyannis, Massachusetts. This role involves delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within a hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their Massachusetts Registered Nurse license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, recent Pediatric experience within 2 years in an acute care facility, Pediatric certification preferred, and successful passage of CCH's Pharmacology exam. No minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree
- Additional Information: Delivers patient care according to hospital policies, maintains current patient records, participates in quality assurance activities, and demonstrates proficiency in computerized nursing informatics. The role also involves acting as a resource for staff, participating in patient care evaluation, and adhering to safety policies, including blood and body fluid handling.
