Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an Oncology/Women's Surgical unit located in Asheville, North Carolina. The chosen candidate will provide specialized nursing care in a busy oncology and surgical environment. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Asheville, North Carolina
- Specialty: Medical Surgical Oncology Floor (MS ONC)
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: License (RN or CNA), Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in oncology, women's surgical units, or similar settings
- Additional Information:
- Unit type: Oncology/Women's Surgical
- EMR system: Cerner
- No current certifications required aside from licensing and BLS
- Staffing includes 1 RN per shift with a team of nurses and support staff
- No floating anticipated, as unit is specified for oncology/womens surgical care
- The position is a contract replacement for staffing needs
