Job Summary:
The registered nurse (RN) position is located in Reno, Nevada, at a busy and fast-paced medical center specializing in telemetry care. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including those with complex cardiac, respiratory, and post-procedure needs. Candidates are required to bring their Nevada RN license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Location: Reno, Nevada
• Specialty: Medical Surgical With Telemetry (MS TELE)
• Schedule: Days, 3x12 shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Nevada RN license required prior to start, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience. Candidate must pass a telemetry competency exam, including identifying and measuring rhythm strips; failure will result in contract termination.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. May be required to work major holidays and pick up an additional shift during the schedule period. Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts. The hospital serves a large patient population in a Level II Trauma Center environment with extensive services including heart care, surgical services, and emergency care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
