Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) at a healthcare facility located in Fort Myers, Florida. The position involves caring for high-acuity obstetric patients on a 19-bed unit. Candidates must bring their active RN license on the first day of assignment. This role requires prior experience in labor and delivery and travel nursing experience.

Job Details

  • Location: Fort Myers, Florida
  • Shift: Nights, with a schedule of 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license with license number; 2+ years of labor and delivery experience; prior travel experience; current certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification from the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA). Degree accreditation must be on profile or candidate must have at least 5 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) Advanced Fetal Monitoring class and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification.
  • Additional Information:
    • Ratios 1-2:1 for patient care
    • Call required for 12 hours in a six-week scheduling period
    • Floating: Float rotation may be required; travelers are prioritized for floating and may float to sister campuses as needed
    • All rounded demographic information (address, email, date of birth, social security number, RN license number) must be loaded at submission; incomplete submissions will not be considered
    • Hard document deadline is one week prior to start date; no exceptions for pending documentation
