Description

Job Summary:
The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) located in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational standards and professional nursing practice. Candidates are required to bring their current RN license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Tucson, Arizona
  • Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL)
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, stable BLS certification; experience in the clinical area for which applying is desired; education includes a Bachelor's degree preferred; additional certifications such as Fingerprint Clearance Cards relevant to specific facilities may be required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification preferred.
  • Additional Information: Employees working at certain facilities may need specific Fingerprint Clearance Cards issued by their state of practice or other states as applicable. Clinical performance competencies must be maintained through annual validations.
  • Responsibilities: Assess patient needs, formulate care plans including discharge planning, deliver direct patient care, coordinate and supervise team activities, evaluate patient responses, document care activities, and promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
  • Environment: Typical direct patient care environment requiring physical agility and communication skills. May need to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient needs.
