Job Summary:
A registered nurse with specialized experience in the operating room is sought for a position in the spine and total joint unit located in Lone Tree, Colorado. This travel assignment requires candidates to bring their nursing license on the first day. The role involves providing surgical nursing care for spine and joint procedures within a busy facility. The position encompasses both day and night shifts, with specific scheduling details provided below.

Job Details:

  • Location: Lone Tree, Colorado
  • Unit Type: Spine and Total Joint Center
  • Schedule: Day shift (7:00 AM 7:00 PM) or night shift with on-call from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday; no overnight shifts required
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Education: valid nursing license; Experience: at least 1 year of current acute care hospital operating room experience; Location: Colorado; Years of experience: a minimum of 1 year in OR setting
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior joint scrub experience, Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, experience with spine fusions, anterior lumbar interbody fusions (ALIF), and other spine procedures, total joint replacements.
  • Additional Information: The unit performs a variety of specialized procedures including spine fusions, ALIFs, and total joint replacements. The team consists of seasoned staff with a focus on patient care, communication, and flexibility. On-call response time is 30 minutes.
