Description

Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Tele) is needed in Burlington, Vermont. This position involves working on a Neurosurgical and surgical unit, with a focus on patient care and unit operations. Candidates must bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

Location: Burlington, Vermont
Position: MS Tele RN (Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse)
Schedule: Days shift, Monday to Sunday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license (must be brought on first day)
- Prior travel experience
- Large, teaching facility experience
- A minimum of 2 years of unit experience in a similar setting
- Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required prior to start)
- EMR experience with Epic within the past 2 years
Preferred Qualifications: None listed
Additional Information:
- Must start as soon as possible; assignment duration of 13-16 weeks
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
- Complete work history information (bed count, Electronic Medical Record (EMR), facility type, etc.) is required for submission
- No block schedules will be considered
- Bi-weekly orientations are scheduled on Mondays
- Reliable transportation is strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area
