Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Nurse (Cath Lab RN) in California. The position involves working in an acute care hospital setting, performing procedures such as cardiac stent placement, circulation procedures, and diagnostic cardiac catheterizations. The nurse will be responsible for providing specialized patient care in a high-paced environment. Candidates are required to bring their California nursing license on the first day.

• Schedule: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day, first shift (0700-1730)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid California nursing license, at least 2 years of experience including 1 year in a cardiac catheterization laboratory; certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); experience with cardiac stent placement, circulating procedures, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, and both left and right heart catheterizations.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with peripheral vascular studies and additional specialized procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required as all travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have a LA fire card within the last 30 days, references covering the past 1 year (6 months for CNAs), and be able to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). RTO requests must be included at the time of submission, and there is a 50-mile local radius for consideration.

• Other Requirements: Candidates should include responses regarding previous work at a healthcare facility within the last 3 years and have a recent LA fire card.
