Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) located in Farmington, New Mexico. This role involves providing patient care in a level II trauma center with diverse medical and surgical cases. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Farmington, New Mexico
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); current RN license; minimum of 0 years of experience (new graduates welcome); ADN degree; location in New Mexico preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Med/Surg experience; charge nurse experience; oncology skills; experience with Cerner electronic health record system; minimum of 1-year experience, 2 years preferred
• Additional Information:
  • Patient ratios of 1:5 and 1:6
  • Equipment includes VS machine, bladder scanner, IV pumps, thermal imaging, lifts, tube feeding pumps
  • Common diagnoses treated include cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, and CHF
  • Block scheduling may be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • Unit has 43 beds and serves adult patient population with diverse medical conditions
  • Candidates must pass the area-specific competency exam and skills checklist with a rating of at least 3.2
