Job Summary:
Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Farmington, New Mexico. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a busy Medical Surgical with Telemetry unit within a level II trauma facility. The position offers an opportunity to work in a well-equipped hospital serving the Four Corners region, with a focus on ensuring patient safety and comfort across a variety of diagnoses and treatment plans.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours shift time, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (American Heart Association) certification, at least 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing or telemetry, educational requirement of ADN, minimum experience of 2 years, no specific location requirement.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience and oncology skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit includes 43 beds with patient ratios of 1:5 and 1:6.
  • Equipment used includes VS machine, bladder scanner, IV pumps, thermal imaging, lifts, and tube feeding pumps.
  • Electronic Health Record system in use is Cerner.
  • The role may require block scheduling on a case-by-case basis.
