Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available in Centennial, Colorado. This role involves providing advanced emergency care in a busy ER/ED setting. Candidates must bring their license on the first day and should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Job Details:

  • Location: Centennial, Colorado
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, every other week
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association (AHA), Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA, Neonatal Ischemic Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) AHA, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); minimum 2 years of ER experience; must submit license; no specified education or degree requirements
  • Additional Qualifications: Emergency Department (ED) or Emergency Room experience, familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system, ability to perform Point of Care laboratory testing, support from techs and other staff, and the ability to float within Zone 1 facilities including Penrose, St. Francis, St. Francis InterQuest, St. Mary Corwin, and St. Thomas More
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified
  • Float: Float rotation may be required within Zone 1 facilities
  • Unit Orientation: 2-3 days specific to the department and zone
  • Cancellation Policy: Up to 4 shifts can be canceled per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for shorter assignments
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue
