Description
Job Summary:
The location is in Rochester, Michigan. The role is for an Endoscopy Technician working within the field of endoscopy procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position involves assisting with endoscopic procedures, supporting patient care, and handling equipment within a clinical setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. On-call is required, with coverage starting at 6:00 AM one weekend a month; additionally, a 24-hour shift occurs one week per month from 4:30 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Required Qualifications: High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). No minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with endoscopy equipment or scope/instrument reprocessing, preferred. Minimal two years health care exposure in a similar clinic setting, preferred. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant, Surgical Technician, or Emergency Medical Technician training program is preferred.
- Additional Information: The role involves assisting physicians and registered nurses with endoscopic procedures, performing technical patient care services, handling and troubleshooting endoscopy equipment, and supporting operational needs within the facility.
