Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse position located in Odessa, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. The nurse will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate care utilizing established nursing procedures and protocols.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a 30-minute lunch, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Stroke; at least 2 years of prior travel ER nursing experience; non-local candidates only; all travel submissions must meet experience criteria.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The position is a contractor replacement; the client is a PWP (Participation Within Payment) facility, meaning payment to vendors is contingent upon facility payment. The Registered Nurse will hold shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care, while maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education. The role includes delegating patient care priorities and providing supervision to assigned personnel.
